About Where was you born and raised? I was born Timothy Wayne Riddle in Winston-Salem, NC. My birth mother at the time was only 13 and was unable to care for me at such an early age, so I was adopted by some people in the family who became my mother and father; Brenda Yvonne Wright and Douglas Corral Wright. After I became Timothy Wayne Wright, I spent most of my baby years in Wilmington, NC at the beach. Some how I ended up in this small town known as King, NC. I've spent most of my life here in this town and it's where I roam today. I highly recommend not moving to King, NC; it is a very lame city and I can't wait for a change. How did you come up with the name ZING? Back in the old days before DSL internet was even thought of and when Yahoo chat was the thing, I started out on the internet using AOL. Soon after the free months of AOL I had used up, I switched to my phone provider’s internet service: 56k dial-up internet. That's when I discovered Yahoo Messenger and chat. I still remember my first username: ComputerDude4U. I became immediately interested in hacking and programming; I even had my own hacking crew called the Black Label Crew and a programming crew called the Y!Dragons. While ComputerDude4U was cool at the time, I wanted an original nickname like my cyber pals had so I could use it to mark my skills on programs I made and sites I hacked into. This was my starting journey of looking for a nickname that best suited me. I thought all day. I knew that my nickname had to be one that no one had. It needed to be short and very easy to spell. I went to bed thinking and couldn't sleep that night. After being aggravated about not being able to sleep, I looked at my TV and was going to watch something when I noticed the Z in Zenith on my TV box. I liked it so much that I started trying to think of words that sounded like Zenith and started with a Z. When I almost gave up all hope, the word Zing went through my mouth and boom!, there it was: my new nickname. I went fast asleep and the next morning, I got online and made a new username: System_ZiNg. My nickname was ZiNg, but it was later changed to all caps after I got DSL and started playing online video games with the Playstation 2. I am the one and only ZING, and will die that way.
